The National Drainage Awards are being launched as a long overdue recognition for the great job that so many contractors do day in and day out for their customers, often in emergency situations.
The wide-ranging awards will include 3 Small Contractor of the year awards covering Scotland and the North, Wales and the Midlands, and the South. There will be an award for the Regional Contractor of the year and National contractor of the year as well as Irish Contractor of the year. In addition, there will be supplier awards, a training provider award and a special award for the best apprentice or trainee. The awards are completed by an Innovation of the year award, DrainSafe contractor of the year and Lifetime Achievement award.
The awards are open to all contractors, regardless of whether they are members of NADC, and an independent panel of judges have been invited to select the winners. The awards will be given out by boxing legend Frank Bruno MBE who will also share some of his great boxing memories in an interview with NADC Chairman Julian Wynn.
Contractors and suppliers who would like to be nominated for an award are asked to click on the Awards tab on the NADC website (www.nadc.org.uk) where those interested in coming to the dinner can also book their place. To find out more please click here
Any company wishing to sponsor the 2023 Awards are invited to contact mike@nadc.org.uk or call 0800 0933 507 and ask for Jayne or Mike.
NADC encourages the whole industry to embrace the Awards as a celebration of the ‘fourth utility’, which some also describe as the ‘fourth emergency service’.
Thank you,
The NADC Team
